- REPORTING TO: Group Chairman/Vice Chairman & Managing Director
- TAKE REPORT OF: Senior Managers/Managers/ Senior Officers / Officers of Accounts help their organization navigate through the processes and challenges of strategy development.
- DEPARTMENT: Accounts & Finance
- Cash Flow, Credit, Taxation, Recovery, Banking Relations, Preparing Company Funding Plans, Smooth Cash Flow. – **KPI
- Set benchmark standards in keeping with group Net Margins & Industry Key Financial Ratios (Debt-to-Equity, AR and AP days). – **KPI
- Improving Organizational Overhead Costs in line with industry peers. – **KPI
- Achieving best Financing in place with attractive Rates & terms for existing and new Business Ventures. – **KPI
- Practicing to date business law and taxation, coordinating legal advice, ensuring compliance with relevant Govt. statutory bodies. – **KPI
- Perform risk management through analysis of company liabilities and investments and evaluate and manage capital structure and fundraising initiatives. – **KPI
- Accounting management control, reporting, ensuring the reliability of company accounts, overseeing the consolidation of financial data, drafting the company’s business plan and budget.
- Regulatory Compliance, Risk Management, Corporate Strategy including Portfolio Strategy and Management.
- Adopt Professional qualities to encourage ethical behavior and decision making throughout the organization to ensure sustainable financial value creation.
- Ensure Cash Flow is Compatible with company operations, by overseeing the day-to-day accounting, recording, reporting, and internal control activities of the organizations.
- Finance responsibilities to financial analysis, forecasting/ budgeting, and management reports in an accurate and timely manner; including P&L, clearly communicate daily, Duties include preparing financial analyses, maintaining, and distributing monthly internal financial reports for executive management, supporting management on ad hoc analyses, analyzing results of operations including actual vs. budget variances, maintaining and updating forecast models, streamlining and improving current work flows and assisting on a multitude of special projects.
- Oversee and lead annual budgeting and planning process in conjunction with senior management; administer and review all financial plans and budgets; monitor progress and changes and keep senior leadership team abreast of the organization’s financial status. Manage organizational cash flow over 15 companies and forecasting on a daily, weekly, and yearly basis.
- Work with local government offices to facilitate work permits, TAX and VAT documents including customs and import/export processes. Able to devise and implement plans to mitigate the risk for a smooth process. Monitor companies’ legislative developments, regulatory issues, develop and implement strategic changes to maintain compliance and maximize business performance.
- The incumbent must be a Fellow Chartered Accountant.
- Preferred Professional Certification: FCA (Fellow Chartered Accountant) or CA (Chartered Accountants).

- At least 12 years of overall professional experience; ideally 6+ years of broad financial and operations management experience.
- The ideal candidate has experience of final responsibility for the quality and content of all financial data, reporting and audit coordination for either a division or significant project area include taxation matters in both Bangladesh.
- Technology savvy and experience with QuickBooks enterprise is mandatory.
- A successful track record in setting priorities; keen analytic, organization and problem-solving skills which support and enable sound decision making.
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills with an ability to prioritize, negotiate, and work with a variety of internal and external stakeholders and vendors.
- Advanced knowledge in international accounting and financial reporting standards.
- Good understanding of business operation and processes.
- Knowledge of current world financial and economic trends.
- Good communication and coordination ability, coordinate, and communicate with various departments.
- Active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills,
- Excellent commend in writing and speaking in English is mandatory.
- Experience of working in ERP environment.
